3 pieces for instant mama style

easy mom style simple fashion for mamas parlor girl
It's important to me to have a sense of style while still maintaining mama life. I have mentioned it before here where I believe it is attainable to have style and be a mama all in the same.

Don't get me wrong, I am sure there are days that Danica's school thinks a homeless person is dropping off my daughter but most of the time I do love to get dressed.

^^yes she rode to school in undies and a t-shirt one day last week! (all I can say is you gotta love "2"!!)

Today I am sharing my top 3 pieces to help you achieve style while still being a mama!!

1. current top // I love adding current trendy tops into my wardrobe rotation.

This lavender cold shoulder ruffle sleeve top from shop9fifteen is absolutely perfect for Spring and mom fashion. I wore it to work the other day and literally got so many compliments not to mention it is the absolute softest cotton around and would look so adorbs with cutoff shorts or white skinnies come Summer. I have also worn it with my joggers in a pseudo-homeless drop-off moment.

I also love this one with stripes, this with the trendy knot detailing and this one is oh so flattering!

2. trendy denim // when it comes to jeans you do not have to spend much to look on trend. There are a whole bunch of lines that I love that are all under $60 and then there are more expensive brands that you literally invest in.

This pair is an absolute staple and I have been wearing them for several years. Mine are currently sold out but I will alert you if the exact ones restock. But these and these are almost identical.

I almost always have on distressed denim (just a personal fave) as I love the character that rips and threads give to the lower half.

3. booties/sandals/wedges // these are my 3 go-to shoes for adding a bit of pep in your step!

Booties are always a chic option and super comfortable and easy to maneuver around in, sandals are fun in warmer weather and if you prefer a little lift or elongated legs then wedges are a fab option!

I promise you that you do not have to spend a fortune to be stylish. You just need your basics to pull together your look. I know we are rushed more often than not in the mornings. I encourage you to place 2 or 3 outfits already pre-planned out in the front of your closet for those times you need to grab and go!

Happy Friday
