She's a Maniac!

layering tank with maxi dress

black and white maxi dress

Tank: MNG by Mango old but love this & this | Dress: Old similar | Sandals: Wet Seal similar | Sunnies: Prada | Watch: Michele | Bracelet: Tiffany & Co

I am a total maniac-a FASHION MANIAC for sure!
My tank definitely speaks the truth!
This tank was originally an over sized tee that I came across. I knew I had to have it and set forth my DIY/Edward Scissorhand skills and created this little beauty.
It is so easy you guys, cut off both sleeves, cut a loop down the back and then use a sleeve (cut into 3 strips) and tie around the back! Presto! I even added a pink bow from some old ribbon I had. Then I cut the bottom hem off and proceeded to cut tiny strips all around the bottom for the fringe. And let me tell you-they do not need to be perfect ;] Wash, dry and wear.
Adding a tank or tee over a maxi is a fun way to change up your regular dress. If you don't want to cut up a tee, just tie it into a knot on the side and that will create a fun look too.
Remember to have fun with your style!

Hey are any of you wearing new things from your own closet? I am on day 6 today and still discovering things I forgot existed...

  6. Such a cute look! Great tip for wearing an over-sized tee with a maxi. I have a bunch of old tshirts lying around, now I have something to do with them.
