What was I doing in Forth Worth, Texas?! Well, if you had asked me prior to leaving, I would have answered that I wasn't really sure either. My hubs surprised me at the beginning of the year with a ticket to something called a Business Boutique. He listens to Dave Ramsey every day on the radio and he has a lady on there named Christy Wright (business coach, speaker & writer) who is all about empowering women to start, continue or be better in their businesses. He thought it would be fun for me to go to plus we would get a little trip to Texas out of the mix. Meanwhile, I told myself in the back of my head that if I didn't like it then I could dodge out early and off we could go to explore Texas. Little did I know, I not only liked it, I loved it and I made a friend too!

It was a 2-day event and if you are thinking of starting a business or need a swift kick in the rear then I highly recommend going. They had multiple speakers over the two days sharing all aspects of business. Christy is so motivating, another one was Tiffany Peterson (loved her!!) and Rachel Cruze (Dave Ramsey's daughter), just to name a few.

Texas is either roasting hot outside, or absolutely freezing (literally freezing your sweat to you) inside, so it was super hard to pack and know what to wear. But since we were in the convention center for those days, I was freezing!! I have to say, Fort Worth was probably one of my favorite cities in Texas.

More to come from Texas... xxB

Happy Hump  Day!
