We celebrated a huge milestone yesterday, Danica turned the big one! We had the best day. Not only did I sing to her all day like a total dork, we shopped, got stuff ready for her birthday party, had fun with the loons (balloons), played with the dogs and walked in the park.

Hubs and I were going to take her to this little kids amusement park but there was so much traffic that made it impossible to get near there, so we decided to head to the park. This was our first time with her playing at the park. She looooooved the swings as you can see by her smile and then we set her on the grass. She walked for our nanny a couple weeks ago while we were at dinner (so sad) and hasn't taken more than 2-3 steps here and there since. She immediately stood, got her balance, looked at us and started to walk. I was snapping away with the camera, screaming at him to film. He had left his phone in the car so needless to say we were video-less. That is simply fine because it was amazing we were both there and she had the biggest grin like "hey guys I am doing it!" She still likes to hold our fingers too and cruise a little faster, so it will be fun to see how she takes off from here.

Thanks for reading and have a great day!
