Well it is official, I am 39 weeks exactly today!
That means I am down to my final 7 days of pregnancy (or even sooner, one could hope!)

In one way, it seems to have really flown by but on another hand, I look back and what a year it has been. I have not had a drink since my birthday on New Years Eve, I was so lucky and got to attend New York Fashion Week back in February, sicker than a dog, we went to Cabo for hubs birthday in March, my step-daughter graduated high school and moved off to college and I have worked full-time this entire time. Actually, I still have 3 days of clients this week too! Am I crazy?! Maybe, but busy/crazy and I love it.
Above all, this experience has been the most amazing part of my journey so far. Knowing that our little girl has been growing inside my tummy and traveling around with me for the last 9+ months, is extremely comforting. Getting to feel her kicks and movements have been absolutely incredible even though very uncomfortable at times but I would not trade them for anything in the world. Now as I am sitting here and know that we get to meet our sweet little angels face at anytime, really has me floating on air. Sometimes, I lay there and try to imagine what she will look like, sound like and what it will finally be like to hold her and see her smile. I get even more excited to think of hubs holding her tiny self too! I feel so blessed and grateful to have gotten to experience each and every day of this process all along the way and can honestly say I have truly loved each and every minute. Hubs has been great too! He rubs my belly morning and night, retrieves tums on the drop of a hat when I feel like a fire breathing dragon and basically does whatever I ask (to a degree;]) Thank you honey!
I have to admit this last week is going to feel lonnnnnng. With the type-A planner that I am and having NO CONTROL over any of this, it is a little difficult to swallow. I have to remind myself to sit back and have faith that she will make her debut when the time is right and SHE is ready. But I will confess that every time I get up in the middle of the night, I jump up and think is it time yet? Then I realize it is not...
We have her room all done, clothes and blankets are washed, folded and put away organized by size. My bags are packed, car seat is in and ready to go. Now, we sit and wait for her!

Thank you ALL for such kind words, love and support during this entire process, I am forever grateful!!

With all of that being said, this may be my last outfit post for a little while. I will try not be to MIA for too long but you can always follow me on Instagram here to keep up on all our daily happenings.

I must confess that I simply have a flannel/plaid obsession! I picked this one up at Old Navy a few weeks back and have been itching for it to get a bit cooler to hurry up and throw on. Paired with one of my favorite hats as of late my old boyfriend jeans held together with a hairband (shh) and off to the doctor I go. By the way, you MUST pick up a floppy felt hat this fall if it is the last thing you do. They are super fab to throw on even without rain and spruce up your outfit instantly.
