Looking at these pictures a week later, makes me realize how in looooove I still am with this dress! I sure hope I can wear this thing even after packing my watermelon around is gone. Everything about this dress is perfect. The color, the fit, the material is so soft and thick, it is the right length for an almost 6 foot tall person, and it makes baby girl look AMAZING! Oh and did I mention it was only $40-something dollars?! Score! Now the shoes, ahhh they are just fabulous. I showed up at dinner a few weeks ago with my friend Amanda wearing this and a different version of laced up heels and yet fell in love with hers. So, obviously when the Nordstrom sale started I had to get them and copy her. I don't think I have taken them off since. Insert major swoon...

This is the maternity dress and outfit that I wore for my baby shower last weekend. Which, took me over a week to recover from ha! I had the most amazing shower a girl could ask for. The love and support from each person that was there was absolutely incredible. I started off crying in the car on my way driving over to my sisters just feeling full of gratitude that day and so blessed to be in this wonderful position of becoming a mother. Something a few years back I probably would not have done. As they say, timing is everything right?! Then as I walked in and saw how perfectly color coordinated and decorated my sister, friends and family had done up her house, I started crying again. Hormones... As each person arrived and walked in that day to celebrate this new baby girl whom were all very dear and special, my heart just filled with even more gratitude to have had each one of them there. I am forever grateful! I have to mention that I also had quite a few people that live out of state and the area that could not make it and I know they were there in spirit as well. All in all, it was a perfect day and I was floating for hours/days afterwards. (I will post shower pics soon too!)
Thank you Sis-love you to pieces!!
