New Years Eve is more than NYE to me. It is a very special day as it is also my BIRTHDAY! Growing up, a birthday 6 days after Christmas was never any fun. We were always on Winter Break and went snowboarding every. single. year. Which was fine but I ALWAYS wanted a pool party. I remember people use to try and combine my presents too and I would cry to my mom that it was so unfair. Now as an adult, I NEVER. EVER. ALLOW combining. Or I just say, I'll move it to June 30! Well, never say never…… But pretty much. Hubs has always done an amazing job separating my special day, along with my family and friends too.
I have had some amazing birthdays as I spent turning 30 in Vegas on New Years which was insane! They are always fun birthdays in cool places, but pretty expensive as NYE is CRAZY-TOWN! Any who, this last birthday was awesome. We knew we wanted to be mellow (I only stayed up till 10:20, I think this was the first time ever I didn't make it to 12!) and had a wonderful dinner with my amazing in-laws and my sweet friend who has been with me the last 7 birthdays! We went to a new place in town called Lazy Dog Restaurant and it was a blast! We had been there before and love the food and bar. They are pet friendly on their patio as you can bring your furry family too!
Of course, I had to throw on a few sequins, but kept them toned down with all black and booties.
THANK YOU to my hubs, in-laws and friend who were there. And I missed my sis a lot but she had to deliver babies that night that will get to share my bday in the future. And my brother, Dad and Mom & friends! Love you guys!!!!!!
Thank you all for the birthday wishes!!!!!
Cheers to an even better year to come… Happy 2014
