Happy Holidays! I hope you all had an amazing Christmas! We sure enjoyed our family so much this year, even though we were together at all different times. It is funny, as you get older you realize that having the family together is more important than anything else. I think we are going through some funny, emotional changes in our home as Aaron's daughter is 17 and a senior in high school. She is finishing up this senior year so quickly and will be heading off to college next fall. {insert tears}!! EEK time flies making you cherish all the moments you do have together. Living in the moment, as we all should do!
With that being said, I knew I wanted us to do family pics this year as it is her last year at home as a kid. You all remember how life changes when you get out of high school?! Peace out! The parents are chopped liver or a crashing pad for the weekend. One of my sweet, talented clients does photography and was kind enough to shoot these lovely pics. Surprisingly, this day was absolutely freezing with whipping winds and gray skies. She was still able to capture us and the fur babies, amazingly. My hubs is the complete opposite of me. I see a camera and I jump up ready to pose. I can barely get him to crack a smile let alone be in a pic. He was an absolute trooper this day and I am so thankful because now we have gorgeous family pictures for our home and family too. And of course, the 4-legged kids are use to their paparazzi mama and do pretty well posing!
Hard to believe tomorrow is already New Years Eve, the very last day of 2013?!
Annnnnnd my BIRTHDAY!
