I hope you all had a wonderful weekend!!!

Camo + Zara = LOVE

Being fashionable is more than making you look good and feel good. Fashion for me helps to put life in perspective and keep me grounded at times. Yes a tad deep for little pieces of cotton residing on your skin but for instance, when I wear my camo pants, they remind me of my brother in law {whom recently deployed} and all the wonderful men and women that sacrifice so much to go out there and help keep us free and safe here in our very own country.
We are so blessed.
And like I always say, thank goodness for people like my brother in law because I do not think I could leave and do what they do.
I am SO grateful!!!

There are many different things you could do to show appreciation and gratitude. If you feel compelled to help, know that there are programs online for sending soldiers packages or my mom really likes the Wounded Warrior Project. But I think that one of the most important things you can do is offer the families {wife or husband and children at home} support. Whether it is volunteering a few hours of childcare so the parent can go grocery shopping, take a peaceful shower or simply to have a few quiet minutes. You could always offer to make and deliver dinner or have the family over for a few laughs.

Most importantly, remember that when you see someone out and about in public that may seem distracted, sad or just plain having a rough day or if they have small kids alone at the grocery store that they may have a Dad or Mom/husband or wife that is off serving for our country. Not only that, it could be the person next to you on the treadmill, a client, friend or personal relative. I would like to remind you to not judge anyone. Show compassion, share a smile with all, exude a loving demeanor and I challenge you to do something nice for a military family!

What did you/have you/will you do for a military family?
I know what I will do...
