Hello!
Yes, many days have passed… Moving, internet malfunctions,
computer crashings (yes 2), arranging a new home, blending family, wedding
planning and work were a few minor distractions to unfortunately have kept me
from chicken pecking. Ahhhh-deep breath! I am back and excited for all that fall
has to bring us and look forward to sharing many wonderful new products while
also getting back to my monthly drawings.
Here are a few of my beauty Faves to help you transition into fall.
HAIR:
Alterna Caviar Anti-aging
Overnight Hair Rescue
*This is a deep penetrating overnight treatment for severely
damaged or dry hair. It will instantly penetrate deep into the hair and deliver
vital nutrients while you sleep. After just one use you will awaken to silky,
shiny hair that looks and feels stronger, healthier and visibly rejuvenated.
No need to worry as it will not leave residue on your pillow or
sheets. The more you use it the healthier your hair will become. For best
results use 2-3 times per week.
Rub into palms and focus on mid-shafts to ends. Leave on overnight
and wash out in the morning.
Free of: Parabens, gluten, phthalates, mineral oil, paraffin, DEA,
TEA, petrolatum and PABA. Totally safe for color treated hair.
SKIN:
Nivea Essentially Enriched
Daily Lotion
*This came recommended from my tanning-airbrush specialist. This
lotion not only hydrates the driest skin but is alcohol free and therefore helps
to elongate the duration for which your tan will last. (Which we all know I am
a fake tan junkie and super picky.) Any extra mileage in my darker skin is
muchly appreciated!!!
MASCARA:
Maybelline Great Lash LOTS OF LASHES
*Finally a wand that is shaped to get all of your lashes. They are
calling it the great little grabber and true that! The tip end is really small and
can get your tiny lashes on the inside and outside really well, with the body
being fatter helping to build volume with each coat. (I will admit I still
cocktail Lash Blast with it.) I bought it in Blackest Black and it washes off
super easy with a little baby shampoo.
*I also bought two of the Maybelline
colored mascaras in Teal and Royal Blue. Both, of which I love the colors but
hate the wands for applying. I will try to seek out some other options and hope
to share later. For now, I have been using some disposable wands that fit inside
the tubes to apply the product.
NAILS:
OPI-Uh-Oh Roll Down The
Window
This is an Olive-green polish and really opaque. To add a little
spark, gold glitter stripes look fun on a few different nails with it.
Typically I am a TOTAL fair weather/summer person. BUT, this last
summer was enough for me to fire the season quickly and hire FALL fast! I am
welcoming everything warm and cozy with wide-open arms. With FALL as my current
obsession, I am in LOVE with military/neutral colors (Boo cannot wear them at
work, thanks to black and grey) but, that’s not stopping me from retail therapy
to accommodate my days off. Here are a few of my fashion FALL-Obsessions!
